SHOULD I FEAR SODIUM 🧂?
A lot of questions about taking it and tracking its intake are constantly asked by me, so I thought to dedicate a post to talk more about it .
✔️ Sodium is essential mineral that our body do need!
Now social media highlights its ill effect as lot of people binge eating outside or packaged foods which definitely leads to many health concerns like high blood pressure .
✔️ If you are not balancing sodium with water, exercise or high potassium foods; chances are you will be facing health concerns. For those who prefer convenient foods ,also binge on soda rather than water! Also are not active and lead a sedentary lifestyle .
✔️ Balancing sodium level can be easy by
1️⃣ Consuming 3500 mg potassium daily (salmon, squash, sweet potato, banana, egg whites, avacado are potassium rich)
2️⃣ Drinking 0.5 oz multiply by your body weight in water
3️⃣ Moving your body
4️⃣ Not consuming every meal out.
